Wie bij het horen van het woord “gitaar” spontaan denkt aan het Spaanse landschap en flamenco, is zeker juist. Maar voor wie enkel en alleen aan Spanje denkt, is dit concert een absolute aanrader. Klassiek gitaar is een uiterst veelzijdig instrument en heeft een rijke geschiedenis en traditie in vele andere stijlen en culturen. Elke neemt je tijdens dit concert mee langs enkele grote werken uit de muziek- en gitaargeschiedenis.

Elke neemt je tijdens dit concert mee doorheen de eeuwen langs enkele van de meest iconische werken uit het gitaarrepertoire. Gaande van Bachs meesterlijke Chaconne tot Tarrega’s Capricho Arabe, van Barrios’ La Catedral tot Domeniconi’s Koyunbaba en meer.
